Flashbacks started on February 2013 originally called "The Top Five", when drummer Javier Torres sent a message to guitarist Jerry Torres asking him if could join him to play in a local School Concert. After Jerry accepted, both started looking for a bassist, other guitarist and singer. They found young bassist Adriel Mattos, son of Puertorican Jazz Pianist Angel David Mattos, Jan Carlos a friend of them to be guitarist and Ricardo Olazabal to be vocalist. So that's when the young High School band started their journey. After their first presentation on March 20th, the group continued to practice and have played on various local gigs. Angel David Mattos joined as Musical Director and Keyboardist and later a young girl named Karina Castro joined as backup singer. They are currently working on original songs and looking forward to play at local gigs as they have planned to.

Flashbacks originalmente comenzó en febrero de 2013 como "Los Top Five" cuando Javier Torres envió un mensaje a Jerry Torres le preguntó si podía reunirse con él para tocar en un concierto de la escuela. Cuando Jerry aceptó, ambos comenzaron a buscar un bajista, otro guitarrista y cantante. Hallaron joven bajista Mattos Adriel, hijo del pianista de jazz puertorriqueño Angel David Mattos, Jean Carlos un amigo de ellos para ser guitarrista y Ricardo Olazabal como vocalista. Javier estaba buscando un concepto Surf Rock mezclado con Rock Clásico. Después de su primera presentación el 20 de marzo, el grupo continuó practicando y Ángel David Mattos se unió como director musical y tecladista. La jóven Karina Castro y Jean Ramírez ambos estudiantes de la Escuela también se unieron al grupo quienes actualmente tocan en pequeños lugares en la isla aunque ya han tocado en shows grandes como en el Relevo Por La Vida en Barceloneta frente a más de 1,000 personas y en Ostra Cosa @Tótem en San Juan.
